If you can justify using this service at work, talk to your employer about making the site available to you.

I use it at work to continue working when the exchange server (on the other side of the world) is down, otherwise I have no outgoing email for upto 6 hours waiting for the west coast of US to wake up.

If you can't justify using the service, have a look at the various policies your employer has to make sure that you would not be in violation by using it and then ask for access if its use doesn't violate any policy.

Don't try to circumvent computer security systems, they are their to protect the company and its network. If you break it, you could end up paying (possible with your job) for it.

IT is their to support the business, not to control it, so if you need something, ask for it.

This is going to sound a bit tacky, but, you should get some of those ant traps, and put them on top of your computer, and put up some fly strips near lights and stuff. If that does not help, then I would go ahead and get a bug bomb.
