Commonsense rules apply, and the girl will make that clear. Private is rare, and possible at the limit of legality or beyond, but you won’t get into trouble. The girl and the establishment might if they allow it to go beyond decent limits.

The essence of (legal) lap dancing is that the dancer can flirt with no limits. The only contact permitted is the grinding of her ass into your boyfriend’s (or your) lap. No flesh-to-flesh contact is permitted

You may make contact outside the club, but not inside. A “business card” you can hand over (with a non-personal phone number, perhaps a temporary mobile) and fake names when you thank the performer is probably OK. If not, it will be refused.

The dancer wears a minimal costume, usually a tiny thong.
